Dartmouth Seeks Community Input on a PFAS/Breast Cancer Study

July 25, 2024

The Dartmouth Cancer Center is working on a project to explore breast cancer screening in communities with environmental exposures such as PFAS. The study involves testing of a breast cancer screening decision tool among communities with known exposures to PFAS. This tool is designed to educate women on breast cancer risk factors, including environmental factors, and help them make informed choices about breast cancer screening.

To explore this further, the study team is seeking women ages 39-49 in Merrimack, Hillsborough and Rockingham counties. For more information, please visit the study website
